Delicate Winter Wedding Board

Since mother nature has decided to skip fall and go straight to winter this week, I thought it would be fitting to do the same.

The star of the show in this weeks inspiration board is the lovely silver brunia ball. This flower is one of very few flowers that naturally has a beautiful silver-gray color.

This color palette yields a very calm and serene atmosphere that gently reminds you of a soft winter snowfall.

Achieving this look can be very simple, here are a few suggestions to get you started:

Colors: Dusty Blue, Silver, Brown, Gold, and Cream
Elements: Keep your color palette simple, white dinnerware and containers provide a wonderful foundation to build upon. Add in plenty of natural browns in the form of kraft paper, leather, wooden containers and pine cones. Touches of antiqued gold, used sparingly, make a very nice statement.
Flowers: Silver Brunia, Dusty Miller, Vendela Ivory Rose, Pine Cones, Seeded Eucalyptus
Fabric: Wool, Velvet, and Tulle
