War Eagle Fair

I had the opportunity to participate in the War Eagle Craft Fair this weekend.

This was their 60th anniversary.  Can you believe that a craft fair can have a life that long?

Aside from having to leave home at 6:00 every morning (and waiting 4 hours to thaw), I had a great time.

The kids helped me set up the booth and we even had some free time to play by the river.  They loved it!

Crossing the bridge and going into the mill was the highlight of the trip for them.

Jordan bought a geode rock.  You crack it and see what type of crystal is inside.  They can be colored or snow white. Ours was a beautiful white crystal.  He even bought some candy for his little sister, what a great big brother.

It was a lovely way to spend an Arkansas fall weekend.

NWA... Here We Come!!!

We just {love} Northwest Arkansas Crafters... we enjoy seeing our customers and getting a chance to "catch up" since our last show.  We couldn't think of a better local to debut our

PILLOW CASE COVERS

Check them out @ the John Q Hammons Center/Embassy Suites in Rogers!
We will be there Friday and Saturday from 9am - 9pm.

It Will Never Rain Flowers

It will never rain flowers. When we want to have more flowers, we must plant more flowers.

We can't wait until the NWA Craft Fair next weekend...
we have tons of beautiful flowers ready for our Jute Totes.

The colors are just spectacular!

What we've been up to

Preparing for the Northwest Arkansas Fall Craft Fairs!

We are excited to be back at the John Q Hammons Center/Embassy Suites in Rogers.  The show will be open October 14 and 15th from 9 AM to 9 PM.
We are getting really excited.  We have some beautiful new fabric for our totes and will also be selling some really beautiful decorative pillows!  I would love to show you a picture of a few of them; but, I have been spending lots of time at the sewing machine lately and haven't had an opportunity to take any yet.  Hopefully I will be able to post some soon!

We hope that your Fall has started off as beautifully as it has here in Northwest Arkansas.

The Station Sale (Adornments by Wendi)

As promised here is a sneak peak at some of the beautiful items that will be found at The Station sale this weekend!  If you like jewelry (what woman doesn't), this will be a great place to find some beautiful items.

Wendi Cupp of Adornments by Wendi will be showcasing some of her beautiful jewelry.  I have picked out a few of my favorites off of her etsy shop.

I'm excited to see the rest of her products!  Will be such a fun time.

If you are interested in finding out more about The Station Sale you can check out this post.

We hope to see you there!!

The Station

We are so excited to be a part of this fabulous sale this weekend.

Northwest Arkansas has had this sale for 10 years!  Prior to this year it has been called the "Schoolhouse" sale and was held at the old schoolhouse just North of the Fayetteville mall.  Well this year the host, Wanda Scoggins, purchased an old gas station in Prairie Grove and decided to have the sale there!!  She was very gracious and extended us an invite to include our items in the sale.  We are so excited and honored to be a part!

"The Station" sale hours are:
Thursday, June 16 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday, June 17 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, June 18 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

"The Station" is located on the corner of Hwy 62 and Buchanan Street in Prairie Grove it is a very fun, vintage gas station that will now appeal to the women of Northwest Arkansas.  No oil spills or tire changes taking place in this location any more (sorry men).
There are going to be lots of fun items here ranging from furniture, jewelry, accessories, home decor, and of course some of our items.  We don't want to spoil all of the fun yet.  You'll have to check back this week to see some of the other goodies that will be there.

You don't want to miss it!

Fair Booth and Sleeping Babies

We are officially ready for business for the craft fair this weekend!

We are very pleased with how the display booth turned out.  Well, except for the very busy carpet that they have on the floors at the convention center, but I suppose there is nothing we can do abut that.

We are so grateful to our dad who made our {beautiful} display racks.  They are amazing!

It is kind of hard in this picture to distinguish what is ours and what belongs to the {lovely} couple who have the booth beside us.  Sorry about that.   We have a long way to go where photography is concerned.
We have added some new products to our shop:
pillow case covers
 rugs {seen in the bottom left}
fabric wreaths
and luggage tags

Our personal new favorite is this tea towel!  We absolutely adore it.  I think I've even seen Amy steal a couple for her personal use.

Of course nothing could win my heart more than these precious little gifts!
Poor things, they just get hauled around most days from one of my activities to the next.
Jordan assured me that he would not fall asleep before we got home last night.  His plan was to sing to me the whole way home.  He made it through one round of twinkle, twinkle little star and about 30 seconds later he was out.

It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day....I couldn't ask for anything more!

Closed for the Weekend

Our etsy shop is temporarily closed for the weekend, because we are setting up shop at the Ozark Regional Arts and Crafts Festival!!
The fair is located at the John Q Hammons Center at the Embassy Suites in Rogers.
Fair hours are Friday and Saturday 9am to 7 pm.

We will re-open the Etsy shop on Monday morning.

If you are in Northwest Arkansas this weekend won't you come by the fair and say "Hi"?
We would love to have visitors.
